Module 3 Activity 8, Step 1 - Students and the Internet -

Hi All

In this post I would like you to reflect on how the focus of this module has helped you think about the impact of the Internet on your students' learning.

Record your insights, key learnings, and questions or concerns in your reflection.

When I did this course, I was on a steep learning curve in terms of using wikis and blogs. Now I don't know how I created an authentic learning project without them.

I have always considered the citing of resources (print and different media) very important and I think it is something that is so often overlooked by teachers. Make sure students reference their information. There are some good proformas in this module.

It is important we teach students to have their own voice. They need to be able to access information, understand that information and then create their own work through synthesising what they have learned from the different information sources and collaborations.
